Nikita (Season 2)

Nikita - Crossbow episode

If you didn’t watch this complete season, please stop reading here. Yes, there will be spoilers, right in the next sentence. I confess I wasn’t expecting this end. Given the route of the season, yes, Percy would die, and division would come to an end. But I was expecting this series to end, just like House. I thought that was it, and not much more could be written. And, in fact, if they would continue the route of the first season, or even the second, the series would need to come to an end, fast.

In the first season we had Nikita spoiling up missions from division. It was a season where watching random episodes was possible. Of course some details of relationship between characters would be lost. But the stories were kind of contained in one episode. That route would tire the viewers. It would be the same kind of episode over and over again. That was the idea for series like Knight Rider, or McGuyver. It was also the idea of House, but for that to keep for eight years they changed the main focus from the ill patients to the craziness of House.

In Nikita that changed too. The second season is more like a soap, in the sense that you need to watch the episodes as a sequence to have full understanding of what is going on. People changed sides, and a small team grew together to put Percy down. And if Percy was division, we were expecting the series to finish that way.

But the writer seems to be intelligent, and was able to do a new change in the course, maintaining division, and, hopefully as the good guys.

Count on me to watch the next season. At least if we can keep Lyndsy Fonseca in the cast.

House, Season 8 – The End

House - The End

House - The End

The last Season of House is over. And its not because it is the eighth year in a row that makes it worse. Or the lack of Cuddy. In fact, the eighth season is quite better than some previous ones. I could complain about the last episode (I don’t like that kind of episode), but I do not want to present any spoiler. Nevertheless, the end, the really end, is not bad. There could be some different ways to finish the season, but the chosen one is good, as it honors friendship.

I took the time to also see the “swan song”, the kind of documentary about House series. About that, I can only say: “Hey, Cameron is so… old!?” but then… eight years. We all are older 🙁

Group Sex (2010)

Odette Annable @ Group Sex

Odette Annable @ Group Sex

She is cute. Very cute. Love the eyes, the lips, the small mouth, the smile. I found her cute right in the first episode of House, current season (8). I would probably not watch this movie if I didn’t notice her name in the credits. If the title helped in this decision? Probably. But mostly being a romance and comedy with Odette would be enough.

Ok, enough of the girl. I should say something about the movie. Well, romance, comedy, no big news in the story path, no great sound track, no great acting, some jokes and some fun. And Odette. Regarding the title, it shouldn’t be Group Sex but Sex Group. Sorry if this is a spoiler. Although there are some tits, and some lingerie girls, the movie doesn’t have anything particularly interesting. Voted 6 in 10 @ IMDB.

House, Season 7

House, Season 7
House, Season 7

Well, first of all, warning, this might include some spoilers. In the other hand, I do not think there must be much people still watching old seasons of House.

Anyway, this season is about House and Cuddy, from madness, to boyfriends, to madness. This whole part of the story wasn’t that appealing to me, as I am not that romantic (and there weren’t any romance), and I do not like much dramas (and yes, Cuddy complaining with House was more like a drama than anything else).

Other than that, there were some interesting stories, some interesting patients, some small details on some episodes. In the other hand, in the middle of the season there were a few uninteresting episodes, where after watching I just though.. well, more of the same.

What I liked in this series was Martha Masters. Not because she is a cute girl (she is) or because she is very cute in that kind of clothes she uses on the series (she is), but I really liked the character, the way the though, how she interacted with House, with patients. She gave some fresh air to some episodes.

And, of course, the latest two episodes were kind of cool, showing the full madness of House. Not that in other episodes there isn’t madness, but, it got exaggerated on these two…

Now, need to start with the actual season…

House, Season VI

House, Season VI

House, Season VI

I am officially one season behind on House. The main subject on this season is House rehabilitation. The first season with House taking no Vicodin. Other than that, the usual kind of story, the same actors, mostly the same modus-operandi.  Unfortunately with less Jennifer Morrison, but with more Olivia Wilde.

House, Season 5

House playing.

House playing.

Yeah, I know the seventh season just ended, but I am kind of behind. What can I say about this season? Well, it maintained the type of episodes from previous seasons, there are no new actors, no big changes in the story. Just probably two. And stop reading here if you do not want spoilers.

First, Cuddy adopts  baby. Not that big change, but finishes all the story about trying to get pregnant. Second, Kutner dies, suicides himself. Regarding this fact, the series director failed on explaining why. It wasn’t in the last episode, so the reason could pop out already.

Finally, didn’t like much the latest episodes, with the hallucinated House. We know he is hallucinated by himself, no need to have Amber popping out to haunt him…

House, Season 4

House, Season 4

House, Season 4

Finished to watch House, Season 4, a few days ago, but I forgot to comment on it. This might be the worst season ever (just watched the first four). The beginning was kind of fun, with House choosing the new team from a set of 20 candidates. But then, this series misses Clinic Duty (I like to see House doing it), and most of the time House is an incompetent doctor.

Regarding the new team, yes, Olivia Wilde has nice eyes. But Jennifer Morrison has a more cute face. Olivia’s face is too orthogonal… while Jennifer’s more soft and round. Regarding boys, I like Kal Penn as Kutner. He is totally fun. Peter Jacobson, as Taub, is just OK.

Oh, and does all series need to finish with House sick, almost dying?

House, Season 3

House, Season 3

House, Season 3

And today I concluded House, Season 3. The best episodes were the ones regarding the inspector trying to frame House. Unfortunately, it didn’t end as I was expecting. I expected that he would be sick, and House would cure him. The scene I loved in this season is the one above. It moved me. Also, this is the first season where I liked the last episode. Real cool.

House, Season 2

House, Season 2

House, Season 2

Yesterday I finished my marathon on watching House, Season 2. My first comment is… are they trying to mimic real world? Anybody knows any doctor that entered a patient home to check for their live environment? I do not think so. Nevertheless, I enjoy watching House. And not just because of Dr. Cameron 🙂

Yet again, the last episode from the season was the one I disliked. At the end nothing is clear. What was real? What was hallucinations? I would say everything was hallucination, but we are never sure. Probably that is not relevant. But I did not like it.

House – Season 01

House, S01E21

House, S01E21

Finished the first season of House. Although the first episodes were quite boring (it seemed that they were just following the sickness list by order) some story arose between the main characters making it funnier to watch. Nevertheless, the stories are all independent making it easy to watch from time to time without getting lost on what is going on.

Curiously enough, probably the episode that I didn’t like much was the one different from all the other ones, and the one where Carmen Electra (above) is present on the show. But now that I am looking to those legs, the screen freeze is really good…
