Transporter: The Series (Season 1)

There aren’t much reasons to watch this series, but the girls are one of them. Not just Andrea Osvárt, that I post here, but lot of other girls appear around.

Regarding this series: sequels are a problem. If movie sequels are a problem (you know Shrek 3 will never be as good as the first Shrek movie), sequels that change the media (from TV series to films, or vice-versa) make things harder. You know, the Mission Impossible films will never be as good as the series, the same happened with the A-Team movie. The other way around doesn’t work as well, and this series is one example of it.

Jason Statham can not be imitated. This transporter seems to be smiling all the time. The main story (or each episode series) are not good. There are, even, repeated scenes from episode to episode. Then, are they trying to imitate Transporter, or Knight Rider? Yeah, transporter has a truck workshop. And the last episode, is mostly Max Payne action.

Ah, regarding action, not real. The guy wins every fight with the minor effort. He doesn’t even sweat.

But then, if you know all this and still like some fight choreography, and some girls, and boobies, and boobs and girls, the series isn’t that bad.

I do not remember well why I did not watch this series in the TV… I remember watching some random, only. So, I decided to re-watch it (the same I am doing with Mission Impossible, but there are others I will not watch again, because I watched them all, like McGuyver or the Knight Rider).

I think most people know this series, so, I will not talk much about it. Just to let you know I love when a plan comes together, and that you should be cautions when Hannibal is on the jazz…

For a long time that I am expecting to see The A-Team movie. It took some time, I confess. Some other things got ahead. Like House and others. But, finally, I watched it. What can I say? If you are a fan of the series, you get a little disappointed with the actors. They are not bad. They do a good job. But it is difficult to substitute George Peppard class, Dwight Schultz craziness, Dirk Benedict and, especially, Mr. T that had a bad attitude of his own. But the movie is good, with the usual ingredients of A-Team and Lynch (or should I use the plural?). Oh, and Jessica Biel helps. Nice girl. Gave 8 in IMDB. For a movie based on a TV series, I think this is a good classification…
