I liked this series a lot. As I included in the season I review, it included lots of action (martial arts-like), cars and car stunts, and pretty girls with few clothes. For this season, you can see some action, a few car stunts and no girls without clothes. The prettier girl around is, probably, Violante Placido, as Caterina Boldieu, but always in decent clothes.
They say a new season will be prepared. I am hoping at least the car stunts get back, because this is getting more and more distant from the Transporter character, and more and more near the 007 franchise.
Also, I am not yet sure why all car makes are removed from the cars. As you can see bellow, there is a Renault truck without its logo. No idea why the logo was removed. I think anybody will see that is a Renault. The same happens with all the Ford, Nissan, Kia, Skoda and other car makes that appear in the series. I think the only two makes I saw were Audi, the one that probably sponsors the show, because it is the transporter’s car, and a Mazda, that probably slipped from the censure, as it appears by, let’s say, accident, at it is just a parked car that get some focus.
The third season of Girls is just like the others. The story continues, showing four girls dealing with their loves, sex, drugs, jobs. I am not sure why I still watch this show. Probably because I like Marnie (see above). Unfortunately the only girl making top-less during this season is Hannah, the less interesting one. At least for me.
Given it has 20 minutes episodes, it is good to watch when you do not have time for any other, like Castle or Game of Thrones, and when you are up to date in other 20 minutes series, like The Big Bang Theory or Modern Family.
Sorry for this not interesting post, but there wasn’t really anything relevant to say about it.
A set of three small (erotic) stories by three different directors. First, “The Hand”, by Kar Wai Wong. An interesting story, although it is not that erotic. It is mostly a Drama. Then, “Equilibrium”, by Steven Soderbergh is a little more erotic, but instead we have a Comedy. The story is great. I voted 7 in 10 for the set, but if it was only for Soderbergh story I might vote higher. In this story there is a small view of a woman nude (the first does not contain any, and can still be erotic). Finally, “The Dangerous Thread of Things” by Michelangelo Antonioni is a strange story. Well, sorry, I can not find a story on this. At least not one with a beginning and an end. Probably I was distracted by the girls and boobs, and missed some detail. But I think that directing a movie is, first of all, telling a story, and if you at the end are unable to tell any, then the movie is shit. Yes, Luisa Ranieri is sexy and hot. But that does not make this an interesting movie. So, probably the more erotic, because of the nudes, but the less interesting one.
Most people like The Big Bang Theory because of Sheldon. Yeah, he is fun, and most of the episodes are dedicated to him. But of course I like better Penny cuteness. Ok, Ok, looking to the four guys, a think I am more like Leonard, liking girls and not having the guts to invite them. But in the other hand, I think Raj Koothrappali is very, very cool.
I am quite behind in the available episodes/seasons, but I am looking forward for the next seasons.
Girls, sex, drugs, love, hate, money, job, sex, more girls, more sex, and should be able to explain what the series and this season is about. The usual, the story of four girl friends (that from time to time forget the friendship) that do sex, have boy friends, change boy friends, do casual sex, change boy friends, try drugs, change boy friends, do some more sex, lose the job, get a job, lose the job again.
I can’t say I love this series, but it is interesting to watch. Not just because there is not that much censure, but because it reminds me of some life problems.
The usual review to the pilot/first episode from a new series. Yeah, I have too many series to watch, more the old ones I would like to review. Whatever. The worst that can happen is to die before having the time to watch them all.
But back to Masters of Sex, the history of Doc. Masters, a fertility expert that decides to learn the details of conception right when the parents do sex, in an epoch were sexology wasn’t anything known. The history goes with the preparation of the project, and getting volunteers to… have sex, while they are watched. In parallel, you will get love/hate/sex stories between the main characters.
My main complain at the moment is the length of the episodes. More than an hour is too much for a series episode. That’s one of the reasons I like some other like Modern Family or The Big Bang Theory.
I really like this series. No, not just because Kaley Cuoco is very cute, but because I identify myself with this bunch of geeks. With most of them at once. Like Sheldon, I feel envy with people smarter than myself (yeah, there are lot of people smarter and more intelligent than me, of course), like Leonard I do not have luck with girls, like Raj I do not know how to talk with girls and like Howard… or probably not.
Anyway, being a sitcom with about 20 minutes of show is great. Good to watch mostly at any time. And it is a lot fun.
No, this is NYATM (not yet another teen movie). At least, not the one you might expect. Accordingly with some commentators, this is a satire. I couldn’t get it. I get a story, not that elaborated, that is watchable. But that can be told in one fifth of the used time. I know and I can understand that the rest is or can be defended as some kind of cinematographic art, like the way it was recorded, or the repetition of the text time after time. But it got boring. Well, if I did not stop watching it before was because of the.. yeah, of course, the girls. Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine.
Probably this isn’t the screenshot you should be expecting for Game of Thrones. But for the screenshot you are expecting you wouldn’t visit this blog. What can I say about this season? Well, if you already watched it, you know the more dramatic episode is the ninth. If you didn’t watch it yet, you should also know the more dramatic episode is the ninth.
Regarding the story, it didn’t evolve much after the previous season. Well, except for the ninth episode. Other than that, things went kind of smoothly.
The final of the season is not as extraordinary as the first season (hope I am not confusing seasons), but not bad as well.
This is not the typical series that I watch. Not that much sex, no action, not really humor, not horror. Two girls fighting for the Marlin role in a Broadway musical. OK, there are girls, and that usually is enough for me. But I also like the the story: how things are done for a musical, with nice songs (some of them original) and a good story. Probably most would argue this is a typical series for woman, but you know what, I am enjoying it pretty much. But then, in the old days I liked to watch the Love Boat, and it wasn’t only because of the girls in bikini.
