A drama about a Nymphomaniac that does sex with strangers without any pleasure. A boy gets in love with her and helps her to cure herself. Although erotic, this movie has some interesting and educational points of view. Namely the fact that there are people with different kinds of psychological diseases (not necessarily nymphomaniacs), that might make them do strange or stupid things, but that in most cases can be cured with love.
Other than this aspect, Christina Lindberg was very cute in 1973, and the movie presents her in her full glory.
No, this is NYATM (not yet another teen movie). At least, not the one you might expect. Accordingly with some commentators, this is a satire. I couldn’t get it. I get a story, not that elaborated, that is watchable. But that can be told in one fifth of the used time. I know and I can understand that the rest is or can be defended as some kind of cinematographic art, like the way it was recorded, or the repetition of the text time after time. But it got boring. Well, if I did not stop watching it before was because of the.. yeah, of course, the girls. Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine.
Sucks! I liked the first few Scary Movies. I continue watching them, expecting they to get better. But no. Unfortunately not. With the first ones we even had some nice boobies. But now? Ashley Tisdale is cute. Other than that, not much to talk about. Jokes are the usual stupid ones. A few ones… I think I laugh… what… two times? Bah, voted 2 in 10 @ IMDB.
A group of girls in their thirties or so, talking about their sexuality and their sex fantasies. A couple of jokes. A couple of not that good looking breasts. No idea why I had this movie in my watch list either. Voted 5 in 10. Just because it made me think on life, child and family.
This is a Portuguese movie that delivers less than it promises. There are some hot scenes, but nothing that relevant. The story is, in fact, a small number of stories that, by chance, has a common character. And just one of those stories is relevant.
I never read the book but I am sure it is a lot better than the movie. I just added it to my queue of books to read. In two or three years I might get to it. With luck.
Now, talking about quality, I can’t understand how a recent movie (2005 is not that old) has such bad audio recording. The authors do not know how to speak, or the technicians do not know how to record. But this seems a major problem on lot of Portuguese productions. Very bad, indeed…
Probably this isn’t the screenshot you should be expecting for Game of Thrones. But for the screenshot you are expecting you wouldn’t visit this blog. What can I say about this season? Well, if you already watched it, you know the more dramatic episode is the ninth. If you didn’t watch it yet, you should also know the more dramatic episode is the ninth.
Regarding the story, it didn’t evolve much after the previous season. Well, except for the ninth episode. Other than that, things went kind of smoothly.
The final of the season is not as extraordinary as the first season (hope I am not confusing seasons), but not bad as well.
More of the same. Different jokes, new boobs, still focused on sex. But a fun movie. And if it wasn’t for the movie… Oh, my God.
If you like other American Pie movies, worth watching. Namely, if you watched them earlier so you can check some references to previous movies. I could detect a couple, but probably there are more. If not, well, it is a pair of fun hours.
My first comment after finishing this movie was meh… it is not truly bad, but it isn’t good either. There are some interesting scenes, and some humor, but the main story is too simple (even with that drama bit). The better scenes are in the beginning.. both the one I chose to post above (easy to notice why, I think) and other in a Chinese restaurant. The remaining movie isn’t that fun, just with some sporadic jokes. Voted 6 in 10 @ imdb.
There aren’t much reasons to watch this series, but the girls are one of them. Not just Andrea Osvárt, that I post here, but lot of other girls appear around.
Regarding this series: sequels are a problem. If movie sequels are a problem (you know Shrek 3 will never be as good as the first Shrek movie), sequels that change the media (from TV series to films, or vice-versa) make things harder. You know, the Mission Impossible films will never be as good as the series, the same happened with the A-Team movie. The other way around doesn’t work as well, and this series is one example of it.
Jason Statham can not be imitated. This transporter seems to be smiling all the time. The main story (or each episode series) are not good. There are, even, repeated scenes from episode to episode. Then, are they trying to imitate Transporter, or Knight Rider? Yeah, transporter has a truck workshop. And the last episode, is mostly Max Payne action.
Ah, regarding action, not real. The guy wins every fight with the minor effort. He doesn’t even sweat.
But then, if you know all this and still like some fight choreography, and some girls, and boobies, and boobs and girls, the series isn’t that bad.
This series is what we can call a diversity show. One can find boobs, sex, gays, incest, violence, whores, zombies, magic, dragons, horse meat… well, anything one might want to see. Ah, you can get some humor too. That’s good. The main problem here is the amount of characters and action in different points, that make some episodes very small in action, they are just a step in each of the different characters life, with no big changed in the story. Nevertheless, it is a great series (and it isn’t cheap, I imagine).
I know I have some friends poking me to read the books, but I hardly see a series or movie to read the book later, or read the book to watch the series or movie later. So, the series came first, then… series won.
