Dome just fall
I know I should not watch more series. But I was tempted. Just by the name. Yeah. Under the Dome. A lot it can mean. Well, watched the pilot episode just for the kicks, and try to understand how cool it could get. At first it was mostly confused, and it seems it continues that way, for now. But the effects, the gore (check above) and Rachelle Lefevre was enough, for now, to make me wanting to watch the second one.
So, for now, will probably watch the second episode as well. Then, who knows if I’ll watch any more of them.
Rachelle Lefevre as Julia Shumway
Chloe Bennet as Skye
This is that kind of series that go in a crescendo. At the beginning it was kind of slow, with an episode-based story, mostly on S.H.I.E.L.D. (God, that is tiresome to write) agents working. Then a bigger story is formed, curiously, joining some of the different stories that were told before. At the end, a big crescendo and a great season finale.
The, you have action, your have scifi (a lot), you have girls for every taste, and a lot of humor. And if that is not enough, you have Skye, a sexy… erm… E.T.
Bentley Continental GT Speed
It is strange, but yeah, recently I’ve been watching this series. Good part, small episodes, about cars, with lots of robots that I like. Bad part, a lot of repetition at some point, given most cars are made in the same way. No surprise there. Anyway, it is a good series to understand the price of some of these cars, and also to understand how automatic or manual are they built. Trying not to make any spoilers, if a documentary can have spoilers, and if I recall correctly, from this first season, Porsche 911 is, undoubtful, the one which production is more automated.
Allison Williams as Marnie Michaels
I confess I am not sure why I continue watching this show. Not really because of the girls, because the ones that do top-less or complete nudes are not really that cute. Not really because of the main story, as it is not that interesting. Probably because of the complete madness of actions of the characters. Probably. Not sure if I’ll continue through season 5, but probably. Ah, also, the episodes are quite small, from 25 to 30 minutes, and that is cool.
Sofia Vergara @ Modern Family
Yeah, right. What other could I post here from the last Modern Family season? It is not every day we get Sofia Vergara in the pool. Other than that, the series continues with some fun episodes and some other more boring. Nothing really new. The “big story” (spoilers ahead) is quite small and slow. Alex gets to college (or out of college? well… to Caltech. I just hope she meets The Big Bang Theory next season). Haley likes Andy. And not much more.
Stana Katic as Kate Beckett
So, was watching the 23th episode when discovered there was no 24th. Shame! Was really expecting one more. Well, spoilers ahead.
For once, the season does not end with Beckett or Castle dead or disappeared. Only a small doubt on Kate future. On the season 6 finale, the explanation was not good. I think more could be done. But that was OK.
Other than that, I just expected Molly C. Quinn (Alexis) to be more active in the series. She is so cute and beautiful…
In case you had some doubts, you can see here a good reason for me to continue watching this series. I confess it is still fun, but the kind of jokes are getting boring. Thankful, now Raj has a hot redhead girlfriend with a creepy sense of humor. Just love her. And no, if she continues in the next series I will post her here. For this time, you get enough with Penny.
Violante Placido as Caterina Boldieu
I liked this series a lot. As I included in the season I review, it included lots of action (martial arts-like), cars and car stunts, and pretty girls with few clothes. For this season, you can see some action, a few car stunts and no girls without clothes. The prettier girl around is, probably, Violante Placido, as Caterina Boldieu, but always in decent clothes.
They say a new season will be prepared. I am hoping at least the car stunts get back, because this is getting more and more distant from the Transporter character, and more and more near the 007 franchise.
Also, I am not yet sure why all car makes are removed from the cars. As you can see bellow, there is a Renault truck without its logo. No idea why the logo was removed. I think anybody will see that is a Renault. The same happens with all the Ford, Nissan, Kia, Skoda and other car makes that appear in the series. I think the only two makes I saw were Audi, the one that probably sponsors the show, because it is the transporter’s car, and a Mazda, that probably slipped from the censure, as it appears by, let’s say, accident, at it is just a parked car that get some focus.
The Flying Nun
For some time that I did not laugh so loud with Allo Allo. You know, after season 1 you get more of “Good Moaning”, or “Listen carefully, as I shall say this only once”, or even “It is I, LeClerc”. Although the story did not change much, I confess I have been laughing really hard in this season (specially episode “The Flying Nun” and “The Jet-Propelled Mother-In-Law”). Just great. Preparing for the next season, the biggest, with more than 20 episodes.
The third season of Girls is just like the others. The story continues, showing four girls dealing with their loves, sex, drugs, jobs. I am not sure why I still watch this show. Probably because I like Marnie (see above). Unfortunately the only girl making top-less during this season is Hannah, the less interesting one. At least for me.
Given it has 20 minutes episodes, it is good to watch when you do not have time for any other, like Castle or Game of Thrones, and when you are up to date in other 20 minutes series, like The Big Bang Theory or Modern Family.
Sorry for this not interesting post, but there wasn’t really anything relevant to say about it.
