Milla Jovovich @ Resident Evil: Retribution
Fifth movie from the series. Ten years after the first movie. Some more from the original game. And Milla Jovovich still in good shape (as you can check above). In fact I chose that image because I found the.. erm.. dress, quite interesting.
Regarding the movie, no big story. Nevertheless, the small part of the big Resident Evil story that this movie fills, is told in a compelling way. Of course there are some faults on the story, and being it sci-fi, some other details that are not faults by themselves, but that you need to agree with, or the movie wouldn’t be possible.
Anyway, and sorry for the little spoiler, I just loved to watch the bullets getting disposed from Rain (Michelle Rodriguez) by their fingers. Just cool.
And of course, do not expect this to be the last from the series. It will continue. You can check a new entry in IMDB, but also, you can watch this fifth movie, and you’ll understand it couldn’t end this way.
American Reunion
More of the same. Different jokes, new boobs, still focused on sex. But a fun movie. And if it wasn’t for the movie… Oh, my God.
If you like other American Pie movies, worth watching. Namely, if you watched them earlier so you can check some references to previous movies. I could detect a couple, but probably there are more. If not, well, it is a pair of fun hours.
Men in Black 3
My first comment after finishing this movie was meh… it is not truly bad, but it isn’t good either. There are some interesting scenes, and some humor, but the main story is too simple (even with that drama bit). The better scenes are in the beginning.. both the one I chose to post above (easy to notice why, I think) and other in a Chinese restaurant. The remaining movie isn’t that fun, just with some sporadic jokes. Voted 6 in 10 @ imdb.
I confess: I didn’t really watch this movie either. It was on TV, I was peeking from time to time. But fortunately enough to peek at the right time to see some camel toes. And that is mostly everything I can tell about the movie. Other than that, just another James Bond movie (not properly a fan).

The truth is that I am cheating. I didn’t really watch the full movie. It was on the TV and I was peeking from time to time. But it is a James Bond movie. You are not really interested in the story. You know it. Always the same. You probably are interested in the cars (a green jaguar with a shotgun, and a silver aston martin), but I pass.
You know me. My interest normally goes to the girls. And in this movie you can choose a brunette or a blond. You can go for Halle Berry, or Rosamund Pike. They are also nice girls, with a fit body. But, I can’t really resist a nice smiling blond…

Bikini Spring Break
There isn’t any doubt about what kind of movie this is. It is the stupid kind. Supposedly it is a comedy, but with stupid jokes. Not that stupid like a Scary Movie, but stupid enough to make you tired of them. Also, I already found some pornographic movies with more interesting story than this one. But, hey, five girls flashing their boobs. Yep, that is the only reason I watched the full movie. To give you a better idea about what I mean, check next two screen shots. I ended up voting 4 in IMDB, for the tits.

I lost the count, but this is the, what, fourth Ice Age movie? Fortunately, it got better than the last. We have more Scratch (I love that guy), we have less sentiment, and more humor. That is great. Regarding the animation, not much to say: it is great. The story, not bad, not relevant to the success of the movie.
Things I love: the liberty statue and Scratch Atlantis. Lovely. Also, Beethoven ninth (Ode to Joy) is always a great sound. But wouldn’t it be more adequate the Dvorak ninth (New World)?

Chuck Norris @ The Expendables 2
No, this is not a great action movie, nor a comedy, nor anything. This is a museum! Take a bunch of old actors for well known action movies, join them, make bullets fly around, add a couple of jokes, and a movie is done. The truth is that the first one was better. In this some of the good actors from the first, like Jet Li, aren’t there, and other bad actors, like Schwarzenegger, are some extra time. Note that I think Schwarzenegger have some good movies, but he is old. He seems some crazy guy out from the hospice. He doesn’t know how to handle a gun at all. Regarding Stallone, never a big fan from old movies. On some situations you notice he is old, and with difficulty to move. In some others, you don’t, probably because there is a double. Statham is probably the one acting better. I really miss the Transporter series. Van Damme is great in the movie. He is a great villain. This time we have Chuck Norris, but he is not acting natural. Hey, they all are actors for decades. Can’t them act?
I’ve read somewhere about someone complaining about the jokes, mainly the ones related with their old movies (check image bellow for an example). Those I can cope with. As I’ve said in the beginning, this is not an action movie, but a museum. It is to be interesting to watch for people who lived with their old movies, and therefore, their mention is not that bad.
But I should say, I’ve seen no action movie as Shoot’Em Up, with Clive Owen (not a standard bad ass). Probably they can learn a little from that one for the next Expendables (yes, accordingly with IMDB we’ll have it).

Scarlett Johansson @ The Avengers
Great movie. Not because of Scalett (but it helped) but mostly because of Iron Man (aka Stark). He is too fun. There are some great scenes with Hulk as well. Probably the one with less sense of humor is the Captain America.
When you watch one of these movies you are not expecting a great story (the story is the usual one). You are watching for the action and probably the special effects. For The Avengers you can count as well with tons of jokes. I think I laugh more with this movie than with some known as Comedies. Very good work. 10 in 10 at IMDB.
Getting back to the girls (you know me), I am waiting for the Black Widow movie. It needs to come out. Please! We want an action movie with Scarlett as main character. This is specially needed because Marvel doesn’t have that many woman heroes. I think this would make is justice to woman. And of course, we men, like to see Scarlett jumping around. Nevertheless, I need to say that Pepper (Gwyneth Paltrow) and Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) are sexy woman.

Contes Immouraux
From time to time I find a French erotic movie, and I need to watch it. They are different from what people usually call pornography. Here you don’t have sex, you have erotism. In this case, it is not properly a movie, but a sequence of four stories (the four Contes Immoraux), that include two woman/man story, one woman masturbation story, and a lesbian story. It also includes quite references to religion (Catholic), and priests, and pope. So, if you are easily scandalized with priests or the pope performing sex, don’t watch the movie. Although I did not like equally the four stories, I voted 7/10 at IMDB.
