Again, the PowerBook

AppleYesterday discovered that there is a 12" and a 15" powerbook, both with 80 GB of disk, and both with SuperDrive. So, my main reason to go for a 15" is no more valid.

Yet, I don't know if I can manage to work with a 12" display. I am of the kind to like big displays (I normally work in a 19" CRT). What are your ideas about the case?

the best sentence i've heard about that subject was on a mac forum (i think), a while ago. the guy said something like "if you want a laptop, make it portable!".
the 12" is smaller than an A4 piece of paper (really handy to carry on your backpack), and you'll get used to it in no time.
besides, it's cuter! :p

I have a 12' Powerbook.
Main reason... it's portable, and it's nicer to take to bed/sofa :->... the 15' it's a transportable desktop.
For work ? Go for the 15'... i don't think that "real life 8h/day paid work" :-) can't be done with de 12' (even with an external monitor http://flickr.com/photos/karlus/702658/) but with the 15' wide screen you get a lot more space. But than again... there's Expose(http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/expose/).
Mind that de 12' only can display 1024x768... although the external monitor can display more that that, if it's capable.

I'm a 15" user. 12" only has 1024x768, and that is just not good enough for me. If you want 12", you might want to look at ibook's.

If I was on the market for a 12" I would buy a iBook.
